Port Orange / Rental decisions

Count use, not only names on a list

Quantity depends on how facilities are used over time. A guest total or crew count is useful, but it is not enough to settle every rental.

Describe who is there at the same time

Give a realistic estimate of workers or guests and explain whether groups overlap. Include organisers, vendors or cleanup staff outside the main activity. A rolling programme and a gathering where everyone stays all day do not create the same pattern.

Tell the team which permanent toilets remain available and whether some users cannot access them. Avoid subtracting facilities that are locked during the hours you need them.

Consider amenities and servicing alongside quantity

Accessible provision, washing and any required separation of user areas need their own attention. Discuss the expected busy periods and how equipment is maintained through them. A number of cabins is not a complete sanitation plan.

Ask for a recommendation against your actual brief

Provide the location, use period, people and proposed arrangement. Let the provider explain the recommendation and confirm what it includes. If attendance or working hours later change, request a fresh review.

This guide deliberately avoids a universal calculator or unsupported mandatory ratio. The responsible organiser should check applicable requirements for the specific Port Orange venue or project.
